Vittoria Guglielmi is an Italian author whose books have been published and sold all over Italy, especially through Libreria Mondadori in stores and online. In order to promote her books abroad, a digital strategy has been set up around her poetic, colorful and authentic universe, which brings both joy and comfort to adults and children. Challenges and Solutions
The challenge was to restore all the work of the author in a graphic chart in his image, an abstract digital creation, a synthetic site and a proof for print-ready which allows to spread his message of happiness and enchantment.
1 – THE VISUAL IDENTITY
The creation of the visual identity began with a selection of colors that allowed the realization of an abstract digital work to express the universe of the poetess.
This work was entirely created with the help of virtual brushes and the artistic knowledge of the digital graphic designer, without any help from programming, machine learning software or artificial intelligence.
The strength of this digital work is its ultra high resolution which allows it to be adapted to any type of support and different sizes ranging from a simple card to a huge advertising banner.
The logo is simply the name of the author VITTORIA GUGLIELMI at his request. From this name came the favicon and the custom-made QR Code associated with her website.
2 – THE PROOF FOR PRINT-READY AND THE CARDS
For the writer’s communication, it was decided to have a small square paper box created that would contain cards with different poems written on each one.
For this, a proof for print-ready was produced including the visual identity elements that were created for this purpose, including the digital artwork that is perfectly adapted to all formats and the vectorized QR Code that redirects to the writer’s website.
In addition, ready-to-print cards were made with the poems provided by the writer in Italian and English.
3 – THE WEBSITE
As soon as the graphic chart was established, the website design began; it was decided to power it with WordPress and to make it in one page.
For a better indexing and thus attracting mobile users, the design was made 100% responsive (or adapted to mobile). This also allows to capture users from social networks that the writer animates.
The strength of this website is its synthetic character that summarizes the whole work of the writer in one page that is available for all screen sizes.
